My 3 year old, Dillon, has been really tough lately. I mean — he's really acting, well...3. And one of the joyous and sometimes tough part of 3 is that he is incredibly mommy focused. He wants to be with me all the time, and if he's not getting my attention, he usually does something under the category of "acting out" to get it. Usually my morning shower (when I get one), is a solid 10 minutes of peace and quiet before the kids get up. But Dillon has caught on and now rises early and sits on the toilet seat chatting away while I shower. It's really cute and sweet, but mommy does need those 10 minutes. So I had to laugh at myself the other day, when I realized how I was buying myself some personal time.
